Mika Ptacek and Tanner Bolton are pleased to announce their engagement and approaching marriage.
Parents of the couple are Michael and Angela Ptacek, Brookville, Kan., and William Glenn, Tyler, Texas and the late Tracie Bolton.
Grandparents of the bride-to-be are Connie Rodriguez, Ellsworth, and the late Dan Rodriguez. Greatgrandparents are Evelyn Pflughoeft, Ellsworth, and the late Lester Pflughoeft.
Grandparents of the prospective groom are Dixie and Earl Jones, Ellsworth, and Franklin and Karen Johnson of Tyler, Texas.
The bride-to-be is a 2015 graduate of Ellsworth Jr.-Sr. High School. She is a senior at Kansas State University working towards a Bachelor of Arts degree in music.
The prospective groom is a 2015 graduate of Ellsworth Jr.-Sr. High School. He is employed as a corrections officer with the Riley County Police Dept.
An Aug. 3 wedding is planned at the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, Salina.
