JoEllen Freeman (1957-2020)

JoEllen Freeman, 62, passed away Jan. 19, 2020 in Ellsworth. She was born Dec. 26, 1957 in Scottsbluff, Neb. to Forrest and Jeanette (Jacobi) Salyers. She married Jeffrey Freeman in Ellsworth Dec. 3, 1977 and worked as a sales assistant at Cashco, Inc. in Ellsworth. 
JoEllen is survived by her husband, Jeff Freeman of Kanopolis; daughter, Jenny Freeman of Columbia, Mo.; son, Clint Freeman (Sarah) of Kanopolis; grandsons, Korbin and Khamin; brother, Forrest Salyers of Wichita; sister, Nina Drennen (Jim) of Midwest City, Okla.; brother, William Salyers (Debbie) of Wichita; sister, Debbie Randolph of Ringwood, Okla.; sister, Joni Davis of Kanopolis; and many nieces and nephews. 
She was preceded in death by her parents, Forrest and Jeanette Salyers; and sisters, Glenda Jensen, Joy Shaw, Kathy Curtis, and Marva Salyers. 
Visitation is from 9:30-11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 8, at Parsons Funeral Home, Ellsworth. 
Memorial service is at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 8, at the funeral home.
