In 1964, the family moved to Ellsworth, Kan. Kathleen resided in Ellsworth until she entered college in 1968. While at Ft. Hays State University, Kathleen met Leon Tresner. They were married Jan. 2, 1971. The couple had two children, Carey and Coby. In her lifetime, Kathleen resided in Kansas, Nebraska, and Colorado. Her favorite place was the Colorado Rocky Mountains. Although she was a quiet woman, Kathleen was a remarkably strong woman. She loved her family, and she would make any sacrifice for her children and grandchildren. Kathleen was the most self-less woman, always putting others before herself. Kathleen will be remembered for the little trinkets she gave her family and friends.

Kathleen was proceeded in death by her parents.

She is survived by husband, Leon Tresner of Benton; daughter, Carey Ornelas of Andover; son, Coby Tresner (Brandy) of Andover; grandchildren: Cedrik, Connor, Luke, Blake, and Olivia; brother, Christian Erichsen (Brenda) of Ellsworth; sister, Christina Rathbun (Kendall) of Ellsworth; and many nieces and nephews.

The family will have a private service to honor Kathleen, and a memorial service will be held in the future.

A memorial has been set up with Pratt Friends Church, 824 Maple, Pratt, Kan. 67124.
