William ‘Billy’ Ray Goode (1944-2020)

William ‘Billy’ Ray Goode, 75, passed away Monday, Jan. 6, 2020 in Russell. He was born May 20, 1944 in Hopkinsville, Ky. to George Raymond and Ola Agnes (Henderson) Goode.
Billy is survived by his fiance, Lisa Abell of Russell; daughters, Shawnka Goode of Kanopolis and Heather McClendon (Brian) of Black Wolf; son, DJ Abell of Russell; grandchildren, Caleb Goode and Coral Goode, Micah Galvan, and Ambriana and Brian McClendon, Jr.; great-granddaughter, Aria Goode; and sisters, Gerdie, Martha, Wanda, and Patricia. 
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Gerald, Boon, and Leland; and sisters, Elsie, Juanita, Dorothy, and Nancy Sue.
Visitation with family present is from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 8, at Parsons Funeral Home, Ellsworth.
Funeral services and burial will be held at a later date in Hopkinsville, Ky.
