Northern Natural Gas Notice - Bushton to Clifton A-line Abandonment Project

Bushton to Clifton A-line
Abandonment Project

On June 6, 2019, Northern Natural Gas Company (Northern) filed an application in Docket No. CP19-479-000 with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) requesting authority, under the title “Bushton to Clifton A-line Abandonment Project” to abandon in-place Northern’s A-line and J-line located in Clay, Cloud, Ellsworth, Lincoln, Ottawa, and Rice counties in Kansas, and approval to construct and operate certain compression facilities at the existing Tescott compressor station in Ottawa County, Kansas.
Northern owns and operates an interstate natural gas pipeline system and is regulated by FERC. Northern must obtain FERC approval to abandon the proposed facilities.
A separate notice regarding Northern's application will be mailed to affected landowners and other stakeholders involved with the project. A copy of Northern’s application is available for review at the Farmer Township Community Library, 460 Avenue E, Bushton, Kansas. The application also may be obtained through the FERC’s website at http://www.ferc.gov using the “eLibrary” link. Enter the docket number excluding the last three digits (CP19-479-000) in the docket number field to access the document.
