BUSHTON — A Monday night presentation at Central Plains Middle School in Bushton by engineers from 360 Energy of Lawrence, left members of the USD 112 board of education asking if the district could afford the $9 million total price tag attached to the engineers’ recommendation.
“It was more than I thought it would be,” said superintendent Greg Clark.
“That’s a lot of money on four buildings — with an uncertain future from the state,” added board member Tony Zink.
