NOTICE OF HEARING

THE STATE OF KANSAS TO ALL PERSONS CONCERNED:
You are hereby notified that a Petition has been filed in this Court by Laura J. Schadler, a devisee and legatee of Ann Marie Hogan Matthews Fast, deceased, praying that:  the foreign will of Ann Marie Hogan Matthews Fast, deceased, dated September 25, 2012, be admitted to probate and record in this Court; no administration of the Estate is necessary; the will be construed, and the following Kansas real estate owned by the decedent, situated in Ellsworth County, Kansas:
    An undivided 6.38%  of a 16% interest in and to the North Half of the Northwest Quarter (N/2 NW/4), less beginning  30’ East of the Southwest corner of the North half of the Northwest Quarter (N/2 NW/4), thence North 50’, East 330’, Northeasterly 180’, North 140’, East 150’, South 170’, East 305’ South 150’, West 925, to the point of beginning, of Section Eleven (11), Township Seventeen (17) South, Range Ten (10) West of the 6th P.M. Ellsworth County, Kansas containing 72.3 acres more or less.;
    An undivided 6.38% of a 16%  interest in and to the South Half (S/2) of section Two (2), Township Seventeen (17) South, Range (10) West of the 6th P.M., Ellsworth County, Kansas containing 298.8 acres, more or less;
    An 5.625% interest in and to the Northwest Quarter (NW/4) of Section Twelve (12), Township Seventeen (17) South, Range Ten (10) West of the 6th P.M., Ellsworth County, Kansas, containing 155.8 acres, more or less.;
    AND all royalty interests in the North Half and the Southeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section Two (2), Township Seventeen (17) South, Range Ten (10) West, Ellsworth County Kansas.
be assigned in accordance with the terms of the Will.
You are required to file your written defenses thereto on or before December 5, 2017 at 9:00 o’clock a.m. in the District Court, in the city of Ellsworth, Ellsworth County, Kansas, at which time and place the cause will be heard.  Should you fail therein, judgment and decree will be entered in due course upon the Petition.
