The City of Ellsworth Board of Zoning Appeals will conduct a Public Hearing on September 27, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers located at 121 W. 1st Street, Ellsworth, Kansas to consider approving a Preliminary Re-Subdivision Plat in a Multiple Family Dwelling Family District (M-3) District; Requirements within 200’of property being proposed for subdividing or re-subdividing and 1,000’ of the property where the lot or tract will border on lands outside the city boundary.

In compliance with KSA 25-2018(e), notice is hereby given that a school district election will be held November 7, 2017 by Unified School District No. 400 of McPherson County, Kansas for the purpose of electing three (3) Board of Education members. The polls will be open at 7:00 am to 7:00 pm. Registration is required to be a qualifed elector.

The City of Kanopolis is filing an application for financial assistance with USDA Rural Development. The specific purpose of this application is for improvements to the City’s water supply and distribution system. The proposed project will serve the residents of the City of Kanopolis.
Any written comments regarding this application should be provided within (15) days of this publication to USDA Rural Development, 1405 S Spencer Rd, Newton, KS 67114-4126. Requests to receive a copy of this application should be directed to this office.
