City of Wilson Vacancy Charter Ordinance

CHARTER ORDINANCE NO. 01-2016

A CHARTER ORDINANCE EXEMPTING THE CITY
OF WILSON, KANSAS FROM THE PROVISIONS
OF L. 2015, CHAPTER 88, SECTION 71, RELATING TO THE FILLING OF GOVERNING BODY VACANCIES.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF WILSON, KANSAS:
Section 1. The City of Wilson, Kansas, by virtue of the power vested in it by Article 12, Section 5 of the Constitution of the State of Kansas, hereby elects and does exempt itself and make inapplicable to it L. 2015, Chapter 88, Section 71, relating to the filling of governing body vacancies, which enactment applies to this city, but does not apply uniformly to all cities.
Section 2. This charter ordinance shall be published once each week for two consecutive weeks in the official city newspaper.

NOTICE OF ANNUAL MEETING
OF THE ELLSWORTH COUNTY
CONSERVATION DISTRICT

To all qualified electors residing within the boundaries of the Ellsworth County Conservation District, notice is hereby given that pursuant to K.S.A. 2-1907, as amended, on the 25th day of January, 2016, at 6:00 p.m. an annual meeting of the Ellsworth County Conservation District will be held at the American Legion Post #174, Ellsworth, Kansas.
The meeting agenda shall include the following business items:
ONE: The supervisors of the Ellsworth County Conservation District shall make full and due report of their activities and financial affairs since the last annual meeting.
TWO: They shall conduct an election by secret ballot of qualified electors, there present, of one supervisor to serve term of three years from date of said meeting.

A CHARTER ORDINANCE RELATING TO THE ELECTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL, AND REPEALING CHARTER ORDINANCE NUMBER 209.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF LORRAINE, KANSAS:
WHEREAS, the legislature of the State of Kansas, in HB 2104, effective July 1, 2015, changed the dates of elections for members of the governing bodies of Cities in the State of Kansas, and by reason of such changes, it is necessary to modify the election cycles for the Mayor and for members of the City Council of the City of Lorraine.

Air Quality Class I Operating Permit Renewal

Notice is hereby given that the Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) is soliciting comments regarding a proposed air quality operating permit.   ONEOK Hydrocarbon, L.P. has applied for a Class I operating permit renewal in accordance with the provisions of K.A.R. 28-19-510 et al.  The purpose of a Class I permit is to identify the sources and types of regulated air pollutants emitted from the facility; the emission limitations, standards and requirements applicable to each source; and the monitoring, record keeping and reporting requirements applicable to each source as of the effective date of permit issuance.

A RESOLUTION FIXING A TIME AND PLACE
AND PROVIDING FOR NOTICE OF A HEARING
BEFORE THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY
OF HOLYROOD, KANSAS, AT WHICH THE OWNER,
HIS OR HER AGENT, LIENHOLDERS OF RECORD,
OCCUPANTS AND OTHER PARTIES IN INTEREST
OF STRUCTURES LOCATED WITHIN SAID CITY
AND DESCRIBED HEREIN MAY APPEAR AND SHOW CAUSE WHY SUCH STRUCTURES SHOULD NOT
BE CONDEMNED AND ORDERED REPAIRED
OR DEMOLISHED AS UNSAFE OR DANGEROUS
STRUCTURES.

WHEREAS, the enforcing officer of the City of Holyrood, Kansas, did on the 9th day of December, 2015, file with the governing body of said city, a statement in writing that the structures, hereinafter described, are unsafe and dangerous.

AND ADDITIONAL PROVISIONS ON THE SAME S
UBJECT; AND REPEALING CHARTER ORDINANCE NO. 5.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF HOLYROOD, KANSAS:
Section 1.
