The Ellsworth County Kansas Democrat Committee meets at 7 p.m. in the basement meeting room of the Ellsworth County Courthouse to select someone to fill the remainder of the unexpired term of Ellsworth County Treasurer Geneva Schneider who is retiring Feb. 1. The name of the person selected will be sent to Gov. Laura Kelly for consideration.
