The November monthly meeting of the Elkhorn 4-H Club was held Sunday, Nov. 26, at the First Presbyterian Church. President Josie Kueser called the meeting to order. Roll call was “What was your favorite Thanksgiving food?” and was answered by nine members and two leaders.

The minutes from the previous meeting were read and approved. Tobina Norris presented the treasurer’s report. Colton Habiger informed the club he had submitted the October club meeting minutes to the Ellsworth County Independent-Reporter. Corbin Habiger lead the club in singing “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.” Zane Kueser gave the club seal report. Katie Kueser and Norris informed members of the many approaching deadlines. Trent Norris gave a brief overview of the 4-H Council meeting that was held at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 23.

During new business, the club voted to present a skit at County Club Days. Club secretary Karli Haase read a thank you note from Mason Ellerman for the scholarship he received from Elkhorn 4-H Club. Recreation was lead by Cord Norris.

The next meeting and club Christmas party will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 17. Following the meeting, members will plan to join County Liners 4-H Club for a pizza party and dodgeball at the Ellsworth Recreation Center.
