MAIZE — The Ellsworth forensics team competed at the 3A State Forensics Tournament Saturday, May 3, at Maize High School. Three team members placed and the team took 10th place overall out of 64 3A schools.

After a rigorous three rounds, semifinals and finals, junior Andrew Hipp placed fifth in informative speech out of 30 competitors and seniors Charlotte Bettenbrock and Riley Rodriguez placed sixth in duet acting out of 32 pairs.

This marks the end of the team’s season.
