The Grow Ellsworth County Board of Directors announced its new executive director April 16.

A press release sent April 17 announced Kevin Colle was selected and will begin his duties this summer, after he completes his Master of Science in community development at Kansas State University.

The press release describes Colle as “A proud Kansas native” and notes his experience includes serving as a program manager at the KSU Rural Education Center. In this position, he worked on multi-million dollar grants.

“I’m looking forward to working closely with local leaders, businesses and residents to create opportunities that support our economy and strengthen the sense of community that makes Ellsworth County so special,” he said.
