USD 112 redraws district boundaries
CLAFLIN — At the December Central Plains USD 112 Board of Education meeting, the board voted to move forward with the redrawing of district member boundaries. These boundaries haven’t been updated since 2010. The 2020 census was utilized to ensure the boundaries were based on the most accurate information available.
If a current member’s district has changed to a point of changing the district in which they belong, the member will finish out their term then be re-elected into their new district explained the district’s attorney, John Sherman.
