Kansas Republicans have an opportunity to select which candidate they wish to see on the ballot for the November general election. The primary election is Aug. 6.The I-R made every reasonable effort to reach candidates running for the 33rd Senate District and the U.S. House 1st District.

KANOPOLIS — Fun, food and family will once again be at the forefront Friday, July 12, and Saturday, July 13, during the annual Fort Harker Days celebration in Kanopolis.

More 2025 budget requests were fielded by the Ellsworth County Commission Monday.Ellsworth County Health Department Administrator Kerianne Ehrlich requested $416,738 for 2025. That is a 2.17 percent increase from the $407,888 she received for 2024.
