In honor of the 150th anniversary of the Ellsworth Cutoff of the Chisholm Trail, enthusiasts gathered last weekend for the annual Chisholm Trail Conference.

Body of drowning victim recovered from Wilson Lake

WILSON LAKE — The body of a 58-yearold Salina man was recovered by search crews at Wilson Lake Oct. 12.According to the Russell County Sheriff ’s Office, Michael Wayne Larson was reported to have fallen out of a boat on the afternoon of Oct. 8 near the west end of the lake.
