Richard Clay Tilton, 99, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Sept. 8, 2024, surrounded by his loved ones. Born on April 18, 1925, in Lincoln, Kan., Richard was a devout Christian, deeply committed to his faith throughout his life.

Laren D. Redetzke born Aug. 3, 1944, died Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2024, at Ellsworth Hospital. His parents, Arthur and Viola (Purma) Redetzke, preceded him in death.He attended and graduated from Buffalo School in rural Ellsworth County, Ellsworth High School and Dodge City Community College.

Scott Michael Davis, 69, passed away Monday, Sept. 9, 2024, in Ellsworth, Kan. He was born on Oct. 1, 1954, in St. Francis, Kan., to L. Vernon and Roberta (Walter) Davis. He graduated from Lincoln High School in 1972. He attended mechanic school in Wichita, Kan., and after graduating, joined the U.

Margaret Lou (Marston) Beagley, 80, of Russell, Kan., passed away Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2024, at her home.Margaret was born Jan. 26, 1944, in McPherson, Kan. She was one of seven children born to Delbert and Ada (Shaw) Marston. She grew up in Canton, Kan., and graduated from Canton High School.

Dale Robert Warren, 59, passed away Friday, Sept. 6, 2024, in Ellsworth, Kan. He was born in Ellsworth on Oct. 8, 1964, to Robert “Jerry” and Lois Ann (Schultz) Warren. Dale was a longtime resident of Ellsworth, where he worked for the city water department.

Austin “Ozzie” James Beckman, 31, of Holyrood, Kan., died Aug. 29, 2024. He was born April 27, 1993, to Doug and Melanie Beckman. Austin graduated in 2012 from Wheatland/Grinnell High School. After graduation, Austin started working and met Maleigha Siglinger-Albers.

Joyce Ann Patterson, 91, of Marysville, Kan., passed away on Aug. 17, 2024, at Blue Valley Health and Rehabilitation, Blue Rapids.A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 20, 2024, at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, Marysville. A private family burial will be held in Ellsworth.

Linda Kay Davis, 70, died Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2024, in Wichita, Kan. She was born on Aug. 8, 1954, in Washington, Mo., to Edward and Doris (Dysart) Kuhlmann. She graduated from Washington High School in 1972, and moved to Ellsworth, Kan.

Mary Hunter, 79, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2024, in Wichita, Kan. She was born Jan. 2, 1945, in Ellsworth, Kan., to Tony and Melba (Caldwell) Svaty. She grew up in Ellsworth and had lived in Wichita since 1969. She was a para educator for reading classes at Goddard Elementary Schools.

Gary Lee Rick, 73, Kanopolis, passed away Tuesday, July 30, 2024, in Ellsworth. He was born Jan. 28, 1951, in Lyons, Kan., to Carl John and Edna Viola (Conley) Rick. Gary married Aileen Poutre on Oct. 2, 1971, in Claflin, Kan.
