Larry L. Criswell, 84, passed away Monday, July 29, 2024, in Wichita, Kan. Larry was born the youngest of eight children on Aug. 1, 1939, to James Oscar and Cora (Boren) Criswell in Selden, Kan. He graduated from Wilson High School in 1959. He married Geraldine (Gerry) A.

Harold Ivan Haugaard, 72, passed away July 25, 2024, in Beloit, Kan. He was born March 5, 1952, in Ellsworth, Kan., to Harold Dean and Mary (Munson) Haugaard. Harold married Jodene Foos in Ellsworth on Oct. 5, 1974.Harold served his country in the U.S.

Shirley A. Robl, 74, passed away Tuesday, July 16, 2024, in Hays, Kan., surrounded by her family. She was born Aug. 10, 1949, in Winfield, Kan., to Mervin and Pauline (Bolte) Sheeks.

Richard Claire Rupp, a lifelong resident of the Dorrance and Wilson, Kan., area passed away on July 9, 2024, at Village Manor in Abilene, Kan., at the age of 86.Richard was born on a farm in Phillips County, Kan.

Rylan John Whitmer of Wilson, Kan., passed away on June 29, 2024, in Salina, Kan., at the age of 22. He was born in Hays, Kan., on Oct. 11, 2001, and adopted at age 4 to Terry and Debbie (Florian) Whitmer in Ellsworth, Kan.

Beatrice M. Ramsey, 77, passed away Tuesday, July 2, 2024, in Salina, Kan. She was born Nov. 10, 1946, in Woodward, Okla., to Hugh and Anabel (Brown) Isbell. Beatrice married Kenneth Bailey in Vici, Okla., on Aug. 23, 1964. She later married Jack Ramsey in Winfield, Kan., on Sept. 10, 1983.

Donald “Don” Victor Peterka, of Wilson, Kan., passed away on July 1, 2024, at Hays Medical Center, Hays, Kan., at the age of 83. He was born at his childhood home on Sept. 3, 1940, to Victor and Theresa (Farney) Peterka in Lincoln County, Kan. He married Alice Schmidtberger on June 4, 1966, at St.

Christopher L. “Chris” Montoya, 64, passed away Thursday, July 4, 2024. He was born April 28, 1960, in Wichita, Kan., to Christopher A. Montoya and Kay Krauter. Chris married Verna M. Krier on Aug. 14, 1986, in Topeka, Kan. He retired as a supervisor from Oneok, Inc. in Bushton, Kan.

Delma was born April 17, 1934, at Beloit, Kan., to David Pace and Anna Moxter Meall. She was raised on the family farm on the Solomon River southeast of Cawker City, Kan., that had been homesteaded in 1871 by her great-grandparents.

Robert Rodene Sutton, 83, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend to many, passed away peacefully on May 29, 2024, in Seymour, Tenn. Robert was born on May 9, 1941, in Williamsburg, Ky., to Raymond Sutton and Edna Marie Meaders Sutton.
