WILSON — The Wilson City Council conducted three 30-minute public hearings Monday before the regular council meeting for property owners who received violation notices from the city board of health.


Danellda ‘Dee’ A. Parrish, 70, died July 8, 2020, at Hospice House, Hutchinson. She was born Dec. 17, 1949, in Ellsworth, to Karl G. and Danellda L. (Lange) Pflughoeft.

Donley J. Bristow, 79, passed away Sunday, July 5, 2020, at his home in Wilson, Kan. He was born Dec. 1, 1940 to Novie and Anna (Hubin) Bristow in Larned, Kan. Donley graduated from Jetmore High School in 1958 and from Fort Hays State College with his bachelor’s degree in 1971. He was united in marriage to Linda Demoret April 1, 1961 in Jetmore, Kan.
H.E. “Gene” Brownback, 91, passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2020, in Ellsworth, Kan. He was born Nov. 22, 1928 in Centerville, Kan. to Jesse Lawrence and Sylvia (Johnson) Brownback.
Katherine Rose (Warta) Hummel,  106, passed into her Heavenly Slumber, on the evening of May 29, 2020. At her bedside were her daughter and granddaughter to wish her Bon Voyage.
