Along-time goal of the Ellsworth County Historical Society and Daughters of the American Revolution has been the addition of a lawyer room to the Hodgden House Museum Complex. The goal stemmed from a desire to honor the first lawyer of Ellsworth, Ira E. Lloyd, who came to the community in 1873, according to the historical society’s Marcie Beneda.
