Wilson company hires sales associate
Dan Finnegan joined Wilson Communications Sept. 26 as business sales associate. Finnegan began his telecommunications career in 2008 with Palmetto Rural Telephone in Walterboro, S.C. While at Palmetto Rural Telephone Finnegan served in multiple capacities including in Information Technology as a Network Technician serving the local business community with their computer and networking needs. When Palmetto Rural Telephone expanded into new markets with more products, Finnegan coordinated many of the Wi-Fi and internet-based telephone projects. Finnegan realized how much he enjoys assisting companies using technology to improve their business’s success.“I put myself in the shoes of the business owner and/or manager with every interaction. I ask the question of how our technology can assist the owner and help them to improve their internal communications, marketing efforts, security and a host of other challenges. When businesses hire Wilson Communications as their IT Department, I am determined to add value to their business. We want to give those businesses the peace of mind knowing their IT needs are being met,” said Finnegan.
Finnegan grew up in Knoxville, Tenn., and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Tennessee and a Master of Business Administration degree from Southern Wesleyan University in Central, S.C. Dan’s wife, Dawn, is busy at home with their 7-year-old daughter, Willa, and their pets including a golden retriever and two Persian cats. In his spare time, Dan loves long distance running and golf. Dan and his family have relocated to the area and look forward to being part of the community.
