Nearly a year after Glenn Reed’s skin cancer diagnosis, he feels blessed.
An aggressive treatment plan forced Reed to travel back and forth from his home in Holyrood to Salina three times a week. While the treatment was critical, it was coming at a cost. The oneway trip, which was nearly an hour long, was getting expensive.
But it wasn’t long until word spread from his church family in Wilson to the Ellsworth County Cancer Fund that he could use some help. Soon, Reed was getting assistance with his travel expenses.
