Thirty-eight candidates met the noon Monday deadline to declare themselves for seats on Ellsworth County city councils, school boards and the Midway Extension District. The general election is Tuesday, Nov. 5. Here are the declared candidates. An “I” indicates incumbents who have filed for the seat.

City Council — Matthew Munoz, Patrick S. Perez and Michelle Schwerdtfeger (I).
