In the Wilson City Council story in the June 20 Independent-Reporter, Carol Petz said she was told that 31st Street was at one time 15 feet wide not counting the easement. She said the trees were planted 100 years ago and noted if the street was still 15 feet wide then they were planted on the property and not on the easement at that time. Petz said she would think that would be grandfathered in.
