ARRESTS — At 7:55 a.m. March 26, a 37-year-old Ellsworth man was arrested at 1200 Dees for aggravated assault. He was booked into the Ellsworth County Jail.

OPERATING A VEHICLE WITHOUT AN IGNITION INTERLOCK DEVICE AS REQUIRED — State of Kansas vs. Daren Edward Kingsbury, operating a vehicle without an ignition interlock device as required. Kingsbury pleaded guilty to count one of the complaint, operating a vehicle without an ignition interlock device as required. All other counts were dismissed with prejudice. Kingsbury was ordered to serve 30 days in custody of the Ellsworth County Jail, suspended. The suspension is contingent upon payment of fines and successful completion of a six month period of unsupervised probation. He was also ordered to pay a $158 docket fee, a $45 booking fee, a $250 fine, and a $275 fee for a court appointed attorney. UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE — State of Kansas vs. Zachary Jordan Gutierrez, unlawful possession of a controlled substance. Gutierrez pleaded guilty to count two of the complaint, unlawful possession of a controlled substance. All other counts were dismissed with prejudice. Gutierrez was sentenced to serve 180 days in jail, with credit for 37 days served and the remaining 143 days suspended. This suspension is contingent upon completion of a 12 month period of supervised probation. He was also ordered to pay a $158 docket fee, a $45 booking fee, a $250 fine, a $60 probation fee and $275 for a court appointed attorney.
