For the second time in its 20-year history, the National Drovers Hall of Fame has received a major state grant to help restore downtown Ellsworth’s signature Insurance Building.

The award from the Heritage Trust Fund for $69,000 was announced this weekend on the foundation’s website. Drovers must match the grant with a little more than $16,000, bringing the total for this phrase of the project to more than $80,000.
