The Ellsworth County Cancer Fund Triathlon is set for Friday, June 14. The theme of “10 Years of Joining Hands”, recognizes it is the 10th year for the annual event. It will be at the Ellsworth Jr.- Sr. High School’s Shanelec Field. A prime rib dinner for the survivor’s will be served at 5 p.m. The event will kick-off at 6 p.m. on Shanelec Field at with a welcome and the survivor’s lap. Through the evening there will be games, laps, entertainment, prizes and fun.

Teams participating are Team Schultz, Team Ellsworth Corrections Facility, E.C.M.C., Wilson First Baptist Church, The Adjuster, Ellsworth United Methodist, Ellsworth County Courthouse, Team Finke, First Bank Kansas, Mosaic, Maico, Ind., and Team Mog.

Teams will be doing fund raising events and as well as selling luminaries. All the money raised remains in Ellsworth County to help and support residents fighting cancer.
