Brenda Buehler, administrator of the Ellsworth County Health Department, announced during Monday’s meeting of the Ellsworth County commissioners, that she plans to retire Friday, May 31.

Buehler began working at the health department as a nurse in April, 2007. She took over the administrator’s job in May, 2016.

Buehler said she plans to promote KeriAnne Ehrlich from registered nurse to administrator. Registered nurse Emily Bettenbrock will replace Ehrlich so the department will remain fully staffed.
