GWINNER OPENS

NEW CLINIC

Dr. Derril Gwinner is celebrating the 15th anniversary of his practice in Ellsworth in a big way — with the opening of his new optometry clinic at the corner of Third and Kingsley.

Gwinner and his staff opened the new clinic Aug. 12 after spending the previous Thursday through Sunday making the move from his previous downtown location.

“Fifteen years ago on Aug. 1 we took over the practice of my father-in-law, Dr. Robert Gray” Gwinner said. “We’re celebrating our 15th anniversary. It’s been, at least for the past 10 years, a dream to get a clinic with the ability of having a Mayo Clinic type approach to general vision care, so when people come in we’re not only looking at how they see, but looking at the total person from an eye health standpoint. I think we’re going to reach that goal.”

“We’re trying to provide more services for people of Ellsworth and the surrounding area,” he added. “We’ve appreciated serving them 15 years and look forward to many more. “
