Lane names on agenda for Ellsworth students
Several Ellsworth students attended Monday night’s school board meeting with a prototype of a sign they plan to install at four intersections near Ellsworth Junior/Senior High School.
The 30- x 6-inch prototype had Victory Lane on it; however, the students said members of the Class of 2020 will decide the names of the lanes to be marked, including ones leading into the high school parking lot and to the back of the school building.
One suggestion is Alumni Lane and the students hope to have the signs in place in time for Homecoming, the week of Sept. 16. Board members unanimously approved the installation of the signs.
