School Boards are composed of members in positions to govern school districts and the education of students. This should be a formulation of intelligent, open-minded individuals. No personal agendas, no chips on shoulders and no burrs under saddles. The mission is to do the right thing in their governance.

The members should be diplomatic in their speech and language, always searching for a solution that shows equity and not separation of units.

The Wilson school was a three-story building that was not handicap accessible. It seems to me this could have been corrected with elevators, making a much lower cost than building a new school. Now you want to close part of the new school.

A school that entered into 112 district received money for their school. The money was spent on a football field, out building and a weight room. A school district secretary did not want to drive to Wilson where there was good office space. She declined, as she did not like the driving distance or like the road conditions to Wilson. Money was spent for a new office to accommodate her wishes. Solution to this problem is to find a new secretary that will do the right thing.

Interesting that the children could travel those same bad condition roads to their school. It seems to me that all the money spent on old and new schools could have been spent on a central school that would have been more economical.

The 112 school board has failed its governance. With chips on shoulders, burrs under saddles and personal agendas.

Any school board member that has an attitude which produces language as was written recently in a newspaper should resign.
