Klein recognized for academics

Emma Klein of Ellsworth is among the students at Colby Community College to achieve academic distinction for the spring 2019 semester. To earn a place on a CCC honor roll, students must complete 12 or more credit hours and have no failing grades. The President’s Honor Roll includes those with a perfect 4.0 GPA. Students on the Vice President’s Honor Roll have grade point averages between 3.75 and 3.99. Emma earned a place on the President’s Honor Roll.

Area students earn K-State honors

More than 3,800 Kansas State University students have earned semester honors for their academic performance in the spring 2019 semester. The following students earned semester honors for the spring 2019 semester from Kansas State University: Brookville: Mika Ptacek, Tristan Ptacek. Ellsworth: Samuel Keener, Janae Schulte. Wilson: Lukas Sebesta Bushton: Chelsey Bieberle. Brookville: Collyn Fouard. Students earning a grade point average for the semester of 3.75 or above on at least 12 graded credit hours receive semester honors along with commendations from their deans. The honors also are recorded on their permanent academic records.
