As Ellsworth High School celebrates its Fall Homecoming Sept. 20, alumni are being welcomed home with a Boldly Bearcat Alumni Bash. At 3 p.m. Friday, Sept. 20, the alumni will participate in the parade down Douglas Ave. with class floats along with former queens and their courts. Float registration is required. Also in the works for Friday are school tours, and a 5 p.m. tailgate with barbeque and live music for a freewill donation. Bring your lawn chairs. An alumni picnic is scheduled for 12 p.m. Saturday at Preisker Park. Bring a brownbag lunch and your family.
