Kenneth Ray McHenry (1941-2025)

Kenneth Ray McHenry, 83, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2025, in Ellsworth, Kan. He was born Dec. 18, 1941, in Beloit, Kan., to Ralph and Thelma (Schmidt) McHenry.

Kenneth is survived by his wife Dixie, Ellsworth; son Bryon McHenry, Wichita, Kan.; sisters-in-law Judy McHenry, Downs, Kan., and Becky McHenry, Tucson, Ariz.; along with nieces and great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter Stacey; parents; and brothers Bernard and Lyle McHenry.

Visitation is from 1-7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 9, 2025, at Parsons Funeral Home, Ellsworth, with family present to greet visitors from 6-7 p.m. A Vigil and Rosary Service will begin at 7 p.m.
Funeral Mass is at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 10, 2025, at St. Bernard Catholic Church, Ellsworth. Burial will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 10, 2025, at Burr Oak Cemetery, Burr Oak, Kan.
