Maegan Christine Lloyd, 35, passed away Saturday, May 16, 2020, in Hays. She was born April 12, 1985 in Salina to Sidney “Butch” and Cindy (Hill) Lloyd.

Maegan is survived by her mother, Cindy Lloyd of Ellsworth; brother, Matt Lloyd of Ellsworth; nephews, Tyler Miller, Dylan and Collin Rosebrook; also many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father, Sidney “Butch” Lloyd; brother, Joseph Franklin Lloyd; grandparents, Pharis and Nancy Hill and Ron and Pat Lloyd; uncles, Tim Lloyd and Chet Hill; and aunt, Rhonda Kasiska.

Meggy Lloyd marched to the beat of her own drum. She enjoyed art and free styling rap music but her passion was cosmetology. She had been doing friends hair, makeup and nails since high school. After graduating from Ellsworth High school she attended cosmetology school in Las Vegas. The day she passed the boards and was able to become a licensed cosmologist she was estatic.

Meggy had an infectious smile highlighted by her many hair colors. She was a free spirit and lived her life by the motto “better to ask forgiveness than permission”. She never met a stranger and she was loved by many.

Those who loved her will truly miss the light she shone into our lives.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Maegan Lloyd Memorial First Bank Kansas, in care of Parsons Funeral Home, Box 45, Ellsworth, Kan. 67439.
