The Ellsworth County Cancer Fund Triathlon scheduled for Friday, June 12, 2020 has been cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

As the world struggles to deal with the Covid-19 virus, the committee wants to remind Ellsworth county residents that we have many friends and family members who continue their fight against cancer.

Even though the event is cancelled, we will have our t-shirts available to team members, sponsors and community members wishing to order one. The deadline for sponsorships and t-shirt orders is June 1. The money raised through sponsorships, t-shirt sales and donations will help ECCF support the Ellsworth county residents who are dealing with cancer.

Since July 1, 2019, the ECCF has supported county residents by giving out $16,643.42 to help their fight against cancer. Teams helping to raise money for this year’s event are: United Methodist Church, Ellsworth County Medical Center, Student Council, Ellsworth; Ellsworth Correctional Facility, Finke’s Retail Liquor, First Bank Kansas, 1st Baptist Church, Wilson; Mosaic, Maico Industries, Team Schultz and Team Mog.
