Monday night was filled with good, old-fashioned fun. It was a sensational opportunity for residents to exhale after a busy Thanksgiving weekend and just stroll around downtown Ellsworth.

We certainly welcomed the chance to decompress. The weather contributed to the ideal evening. Hitting the sidewalks is always fun, and the variety of activities was a good mix for all ages.

Ellsworth is a glorious community in a culturally rich county. We want to encourage both our civic and non-profit organizations to continue to find ways to celebrate and show off its charms. We would love to see continued efforts to expand our geographic reach and invite visitors into the community to experience all that we have to offer.

Bravo to organizers, and let’s continue to build upon our traditional tourism events to keep Ellsworth County growing.
