If you break down, do it in Ellsworth
On Friday, Dec. 29, we had pickup issues and needed to be towed into Ellsworth. Joe from Randy’s Towing showed up and towed our pickup and living quarter horse trailer with two horses into town.
After getting to town, we were informed that we could not get my truck repaired, so we decided to return home. I would like to extend my appreciation and gratitude. His friend towed our trailer to the fairgrounds.
Clint Donley from the fair/rodeo board made sure we had electricity and water. We had one of the police officers stop by to inform us he would drive through to check if we had any issues during the night.
You have a wonderful group of young men to help build your community. Definitely reinstalled faith in your fellow men and women. I will tell everyone I know, if you break down, do it in Ellsworth. Best regards, Tom Wehner CedarBluffs, Neb.
City government communication important
Dear Editor, If a city government cannot answer a basic question concerning planned city improvements, then there is a problem (ref: public forum Wilson City Council I-R 12-21.23).
Unless the City of Wilson’s mission statement has been changed, it also addresses this.
I believe communications with city government and their constituents is very important and cannot be dismissed with a disclaimer at the bottom of an agenda. For good communications, feedback is required.
And yes, in my opinion, Mike would have answered without hesitation.
