Council members should keep language clean
Dear Editor, I’m appalled and deeply ashamed of what I just read in last week’s paper with the Ellsworth City Council.
Our mayor, Dan Finnegan, tried multiple times, in vain, of REAL concerns regarding those hired by, or elected, nominated, etcetera in their positions.
Why was our mayor not allowed time to speak?
Why was Don Panzer allowed to speak to our mayor in the manner he did? Why is Don Panzer allowed on the council at all? He does NOT promote a favorable view of the city council.
Don Panzer must go, now, ASAP. The damage to the city must be stopped. The cruelty, the mockery, the verbiage used by you, Mr. Panzer, is out of line.
If you have the guts, Mr. Panzer, leave your position immediately! You have zero rights to belittle our mayor and our CITY! Step down now or I will start a petition to have you removed and I have all the evidence to prove the reason for doing so. It’s past time to clean up the City of Ellsworth’s City Council.
Thanks, Mary L. Schmidt Ellsworth
