SEE YOU SATURDAY
Legislative forums planned at Wilson and Ellsworth
If you’re looking for a good cup of coffee Saturday morning, we encourage you to attend one of two legislative forums planned for Ellsworth County.
The first will be at 8 a.m. at Grandma’s Soda Shop at Wilson. Both Ellsworth County representatives, Sen. Richard Wilborn, R-McPherson, and Rep. Steven Johnson, R-Assaria, plan to be there. They will be joined by Rep. Troy Waymaster, a Bunker Hill Republican who is a candidate for the First District Congressional seat now occupied by Roger Marshall, R-Great Bend.
The forum is sponsored by Grandma’s Soda Shop and Wilson Communications.
At 9:30 a.m., Wilborn and Johnson are scheduled to be at the Ellsworth Steak House to update constituents on happenings at the Capitol and answer questions.
The Ellsworth coffee is sponsored by the Ellsworth County Independent Reporter and the Ellsworth County Farm Bureau.
We look forward to seeing you at one or both of the legislative coffees.
