TAKE CARE
Don’t let this weekend’s Super Bowl became a Super Spreader
Ellsworth County is not out of the woods, but we may be getting closer to the highway with the coronavirus pandemic.
County Health Department, said several days ago that the county saw a decline in additional active cases across one week and then an increase the next.
“Hopefully, this is just kind of a wave and the wave will move on: she said.
Meanwhile, it’s important for Ellsworth County residents not to let their guard down. That’s an especially important reminder three days before the Kansas City Chiefs play in the Super Bowl. In a normal year, the game is a natural event for home parties. But this is not a normal year.
Please continue to use precautions:
* Wear a mask in public settings
* Wash hands
* Social distance
* Avoid large gatherings (Ellsworth County defines a large gathering as more than 20 people)
* If you are feeling ill, stay home. If you need to seek medical care, please notify your physician or the emergency room prior to arriving that you are feeling ill.
Call the health department, (785) 472-4488, for more information.
