Lloyd Dolezal (1925-2019)

Lloyd Dolezal, 93, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 13, 2019 in Salina. He was born Dec. 19, 1925 in Ellsworth to Joe and Ruth (Bailey) Dolezal.
Before recently moving to Salina, Lloyd was a longtime resident of Ellsworth County where he was a farmer and stockman and member of the Kanopolis United Methodist Church. He served his country in the United States Marines and was a member of the former Kanopolis American Legion, now part of the Ellsworth American Legion Post 174. He married Fern E. Anspaugh in Ellsworth on Aug. 28, 1973.
Lloyd is survived by his wife, Fern of Salina; son, Mark Dolezal (Debbie) of Ellsworth; step-daughters, Trudy Lough of Salina and Dody Bricker of Abilene; grandsons, Brian, Jason, and Matt; granddaughters, Abby and Nikki; and great-grandchildren, Melina, Kenlie, Sophia, Jarrett, Mathias, Sawyer, Finn, Jadyn, and Nolan.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Robert; sisters, Elsie Brown and Annetta Kyler; brothers, Charles and Edward Dolezal; and step-sons, Jeff and Les Bricker.
Memorial service is at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 23 at Parsons Funeral Home, Ellsworth with inurnment following in Buckeye Cemetery, rural Kanopolis.
