CLAFLIN — The Central Plains High School Lady Oilers Basketball Team crushed the Lady Eagles of Ellinwood 63-14 Jan. 4, during a nonconference game in Claflin.

Leading the scoring for Central Plains were Brynna Hammeke and Madie McGuire each with 15 points, followed by Kassidy Nixon with 14, Kyla Metro with 6, Reese McGuire with 5, Marilyn Soeken with 4 and Addy Ogle and Melissa Donecker each with 2.

Tomorrow, Friday, Jan. 14, the Lady Oilers play once again before the home crowd in Claflin in a non-district game against the Lady Knights of Victoria. Game time to be announced.
