Seniors Camryn Eberhart and Garrett Thielen combined for 30 points in a win at home Friday night over Southern Cloud.

Eberhart scored 17 points; Thielen contributed 13. They were the only Dragons in double digits.

“We executed on the defense end very well. They got some steals and got some layups off the steals and that just gave the boys confidence that went right into their offense. So I thought they played a very tremendous game said Coach Trenton Ptacek.

Other players and their total points were: sophomore Noah Crawford, 8; senior Cooper Weinhold, 6; senior Dylan Crawford, 4; sophomore Memphis Eberhart, 4; freshman Teagan Thrasher, 2; and freshman Malachi Huck, 2.

Lady Dragons

The younger members of the Wilson Lady Dragons basketball team stepped up Friday night in a home game against Southern Cloud.

The final score was 26 to 14, with two Wilson players accounting for all the points the Lady Dragons put on the board.

Sophomore Cara Criswell scored 9 points and freshman Anna Thielen contributed 5.

The Dragons were at home Tuesday against Chase. Results were unavailable by press time.

Friday’s game will also be at home, this time against Tescott.
