Oeser, Lamatsch earn firsts at Lyons
LYONS — The Central Plains Oilers boys’ and girls’ teams competed at the Lyons Invitational track meet Friday afternoon at Wheaton Field.
Out of the 10 girls’ high school teams competing, Central Plains tied with Little River for sixth Lyons with 75 points.
Central Plains earned 22 points.
Oilers Lexi Oeser and Cole Lamatsch each earned first-place medals at the meet.
Girls Results
100m Dash - 11th Kaylan Blackwood 14.96; 13th Jennah place. Both teams earned 39 points.
Larned won the girls’ title with 115 points, followed by St. John-Hudson with 86 points and Ellinwood with 83 points.
On the boys’ side, nine teams competed with the Oilers taking eighth place.
