The Central Plains Senior High School Oilers took yet another step backwards Friday, being defeated by Moundridge, 56-8. It was the fifth loss for head coach Chris Steiner and his Oilers squad for the 2019 season. Defensively, the Oilers were led by William Laymon and Tyler Holmes each with six unassisted tackles. Holmes also had two unassisted tackles while Laymon had one. Oiler Karter Beck also had four unassisted and one assisted tackle. Next up for the Central Plains Oilers is a road game Friday against Macksville.
