Oilers lose 68-22 to Macksville ending regular football season

MACKSVILLE — The Central Plains High School Oilers varsity football team went down to defeat to the Mustangs of Macksville Oct. 25 at Macksville 68-22.
The loss is the latest for head coach Chris Steiner and his Oilers squad. Central Plains is now 2-6 overall on the season. The team is 0-4 at home and 2-2 on the road.
Leading the Oilers defense in the losing effort were Tyler Holmes with nine unassisted and five assisted tackles, Michael Laymon with six unassisted and seven assisted tackles, William Laymon with six unassisted and five assisted tackles, and Juan Vasquez with three unassisted and one assisted tackle.
