Caring Families of Ellsworth County will provide free peanut butter and jelly sandwiches March 13-22 for all Ellsworth High School students and anyone else who is hungry during spring break week.

Distribution will be from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., including weekends, at Ellsworth’s historical Baptist Church at Kansas and W 8th streets. The sandwiches will be in a refrigerator inside the front door of the church.

Randi Nienke, president of Caring Families, said all of the supplies for this event were donated, and “plenty of volunteers” helped with the production.

Nienke plans to deliver flyers about the event to Kanopolis Middle and Ellsworth Elementary schools Wednesday, March 11.
