Kathleen Lynn Savage was born Sept. 6, 1956, in Russell Kan., to Kenneth and Helen (Withrow) Savage. She passed from this life on March 31, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Betty Louise Rathbun, 96, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 26, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family at her home in Ellsworth. She was born Jan. 18, 1930, in Sapulpa, Okla., to William “Dan” and Ada (Moore) Stockstill.On March 18, 1949, Betty married Ronald K. Rathbun in Ellsworth.

Joyce Marie Bettenbrock-Krebs, 58, of Cement City, Mich., passed away peacefully in her home on April 21, 2026, surrounded by her loved ones. She spent her final moments of life overlooking the lake, listening to birds and smelling the spring rains. Joyce was born on Sept. 6, 1967, in Salina, Kan.

Connie Lynn (Rusch) Klein, 75, of Russell, Kan., passed away, Sunday, April 26, 2026, at Russell Regional Hospital, Russell.Connie was born Oct. 30, 1950, in Russell. She was one of two children born to Louis A. and Lillian K. (Bauer) Rusch.

Rosalie Joyce Splitter, 79, passed away Jan. 15, 2026, in Athens, Ga. She was born Jan. 2, 1947, in Ellsworth, Kan., to L. Vernon and Melva (Janssen) Splitter.

Donna Kay Siemsen, 86, passed away April 21, 2026, in Ashland, Kan. Born Aug. 24, 1939, in Blackwell, Okla., Donna lived a life defined by kindness, responsibility and a deep love for animals and the outdoors.

Glenn R. Reed, 81, passed away Saturday, April 18, 2026, with his family at his side. He was born June 11, 1944, the sixth child of Ralph and Ruby (Tenhulzen) Reed. Glenn attended Wichita West High School and graduated with an associate’s degree from Hutchinson Community College.

Michael Wayne Peck, 54, of Sierra Vista, Ariz., passed away on Thursday, April 9, 2026. Michael was born on Nov. 1, 1971, in Kansas City, Mo., to Claudette “Sandra” Kraus (formerly Peck) and Anthony W. Peck. He graduated from Wilson High School in Wilson, Kan.

Fern Elaine (Anspaugh) Dolezal, 89, passed away on Jan. 8, 2026, in Abilene, Kan. She was born on July 30, 1936, to Lyle and Daisy (Essig) Anspaugh. A celebration of life will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 25, 2026, at Parsons Funeral Home, Ellsworth, Kan.

Ethel O. Diehl, 103 of Brookville, Kan., passed away on April 15, 2026. She was the fourth child of seven, born Aug. 4, 1922, to August and Luise (Sterling) Laas on the farm in western Saline County.
