4-Hers to share favorite foods

Everyone has their favorite dish. Take the opportunity to see the Midway District 4-H youth share their favorite dishes at the annual Favorite Foods Show. This is a fun event that gives 4-H members an opportunity to decide on a theme and a related place setting, plan a menu and prepare their favorite item from the menu for a judge. The Favorite Foods Show will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 26, at the Russell County 4-H Building. The public is welcome to watch the event and support local 4-H youth, as well as sample the Favorite Foods after judging is complete around 4 p.m. If you have any questions please e-mail Marcia Gier, Midway District 4-H Youth Development agent, at marciagier@ksu.edu, or call your local extension office.
